1. Purpose of heat treatment
Eliminating residual stress: By employing high-temperature tempering or normalizing treatments, internal stress generated during welding or cold processing is effectively eliminated, thus preventing detrimental stress corrosion cracks and maintaining structural integrity.
Refine the grain structure: Enhance the toughness and impact resistance of steel to adeptly handle cyclic loads under demanding high-pressure conditions, ensuring reliability and performance.

2. Typical process parameters
Heating temperature: Generally set at 880-920ºC for normalizing or 600-650ºC for tempering, adjustable based on the material (such as HP295, HP345) to suit specific needs and optimize outcomes.
Heat preservation time: Carefully calculated based on the cylinder's wall thickness (typically 1.5 to 3 minutes per mm) to ensure thorough and even heat penetration, achieving desired material properties.

3. Quality control requirements
